The Little People Collection comprises a divider or screen, a rectangular hanging lamp, a small irregular shaped hanging lamp, and a bigger round hanging lamp.  These were designed by Kenneth Cobonpue, an industrial designer born in the Philippines.  He studied in New York and was under a private state scholarship program in Germany.  After his education he had the opportunity to work in Munich.  He has won several awards for himself such as the Japan Good Design Award, 2004 Singapore International Design Competion (croissant sofa), and Asia’s highest award which is the Design for Asia Award of Hongkong (Lolah Chair).

The Little People Collection was inspired by the Liliputian people in the famous tale Gulliver’s Travels.  Tiny people made of metal and wrapped with Salago fiber, from a tree abundant in the Philippines were creatively intertwined and composed to form each piece of the collection.

This collection can be described as playful, modern, unique and to some maybe even creepy.  Nevertheless Kenneth’s popularity and many awards won should be reason enough for you to want a piece of this collection.
