Wish to simplify your existence? Want to cut down your monthly expenses? Want to spend less time cleaning up your house and more enjoying your life anf family? A tiny house might be the perfect solution.
Building and renovation
A small home is clearly more compact than the usual traditional home. Wheter you’re building it from scratch or just renovating, you will need a lot less materials and work power to get the job done. Considering the overall size of a tiny house is usually one third to one half of a traditional house with the same functionalities, the general cost to build or renovate it is also just a fraction.
Energy consumption
Since they have a smaller interior air volume, small houses require a lot less energy to warm up or cool down. Two usual causes for significant energy consumption are fridges and water heating units. Both of them are typically more compact inside a tiny house so they consume less energy. Solar power panels, wind generators and other alternative energy solutions are usually easier to implement for a smaller house.
Land to build
A little dwelling will need less land to build on. Many metropolitan areas have limitations on how small a house or the land you build it on should be, so you might need to find some land outside town without any limitations. On the other hand, land in suburbia or somewhere in woods costs less and usualy comes with smaller taxes, not to mention less polution. Should you purchase a really small parcel for your house to reside on, you’ll probably have to live without a garden, but there’s a good side on this too: you’ll cut down work and expenses on lawn mowing.
Insurance
Insurance for a big house can also add up rapidly. The price of a tiny house is a lot smaller and so are the costs for it’s insurance, wo in the end you will have to pay just a fraction from the normal insurance cost of a bigger building.
