Ormond Esplanade Residence is designed by Australian firm Judd Lysenko Marshall Architects

Along the outskirt of Melbourne sits a house built on three storey levels. One will not miss this structure with its eye- catching window designs cut out in black geometric shapes and red circles. Designed by Australian firm Judd Lysenko Marshall Architects, this home in all its wood cladding is something out of the ordinary.

The staircase of the house has open risers made of solid wood while a railing dressed in graphic wall paper encloses the staircase.

The same urban graphic design can surprisingly be seen in different parts of the house like the kitchen cabinets, living room, and master bed room dividers.

Next to the staircase is the kitchen which has very angular and geometric qualities. Cabinet doors are made of light wood in an unconventional pattern. Grey walls and ceiling finish play contrast and accent to the wood.

Quirky furniture in bold colors like bright red and orchid pink playfully fill the interiors. Bright red and lime green walls accent each bedroom. Daring purple and red carpet line the bedroom floors.

The entire house can certainly be described as fun and child friendly. The Osmonde Esplanade residence is certainly one home anyone would be fascinated to be in.

Although this house is fun and exciting, it is hiding a passive stack ventilation, permeable lid and optimized glazing. Images © www.dezeen.com
