There aren’t many choices when it comes to baby cribs. They all seem to come in the usual white structure with bars and these really spell boring, rigid, and plain. An Australian couple has revolutionized baby cribs with their line called UBABUB. These cots are nothing like the usual and have an uber sleek and modern design.
While searching for their furniture unsuccessfully, a couple, Natasha and Daniel Dumais from Melbourne, Australia decided to create their own. The POD is a cocoon like shapes cot that offers maximum design aesthetics without compromising safety. Timber plywood procured from renewable sources and finished with non toxic varnish make up the shell. Clear acrylic sides with star- shaped cut outs make up side panels. The cool thing about this bed is that it can be configured into a junior bed for toddlers.
It can be challenging to find beddings and linens for this oval shaped mattress, and the toddler bed offers no side railings to keep your child from falling. This can easily be solved by purchasing side panels that you can add on to the bed from any baby product store.
If you prefer a more classic silhouette, their NIFTY CLEAR CUT design might be more practical for you. This comes in the usual rectangular shape but is still void of those constricting bars.
