A young couple who loves to travel commissioned Brazilian design firm Kwartet Arquitetura to do the interiors for their apartment. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Sao Paulo, this residential space proves to be well thought of and tastefully designed.
White L-shape sofa and curtains mixed with beige cushions and carpet along with small wood accents make from this apartment a cozy home.
Elegant yet youthful elements can be seen in the living room. Most soft furnishings like the curtains and upholstery come in a crisp white and beige fabric. Walls are finished with a faint grey color. This neutral palette is well balanced with the wood paneling of the home theater wall and warm Tauari wood flooring.
A classic Eames Lounge Chair sits across the main sofa and noticeable accent side tables compliment the whole composition. Art work remains neutral in black, white and neutrals. Other accessories are kept to a minimum.
Yellow, a cheerful accent color
What is most striking is the yellow console table behind the sofa. This is something definitely note worthy. It adds a great punch of color and interest to the whole space and makes the transition to the second interest point: the dinning room area.
The Brastemp cooler monitor temperature variations for a perfect wine while the pawn-like stool gives a touch of unique decor.

The hidden treasure of the living room
Because the owners love to travel, a “display corner” was created. Their treasure is hidden in a pocket room made of matching Brazilian Oak wood in an elegant geometric design pattern and contains the couple’s collections and gadgets acquired from their travels.

Comfy and sleek: the master bedroom
The bedroom evokes a modern, sleek yet cozy atmosphere. White sheets embrace the bed, eight MDF boards draped with a brown linen material form a padded headboard.
The subtle darkness is maintained by modern reading lamps incorporated into the headboard.
